Common Presentations of Dark Winter
Dark Winter, like all seasons, has a huge range in terms of what they can look like. These Dark Winter celebrity examples are merely a guess, since we can’t know what they would look like in real life with every season tried following proper methodology, however in photos they resemble exemplars I have personally seen. Please keep in mind that any season can present with any hair, skin and eye color.
Dark Winter Hair Colors: These can range from medium ash brown to black. Hair here can be, but as often isn’t particularly dark in appearance. The average natural color is probably a medium-dark brunette, with the more defining character being the rich pigmentation and undertones of red or violet.
Dark Winter Eye Colors: Completely brown eyes and eyes that mix brown and green are seen frequently in people with this coloring. Blue and blue-green eyes do occur and can mislead one to think of a different season even when hair and skin present very typically. Eyes can range from cool or contrasted to slightly warmer and softer in their immediate impression.
Dark Winter Skin tones: Dark Winter skin tones range from the fairest to the deepest, in almost equal amounts, with medium to deep tones being perhaps a bit more common. Olive tones occur often in the skin and may be mistaken for warmer seasons. Those who have less contrast between skin, hair and eyes in this season may often be mistaken for autumn blends, and those who appear lighter may be taken for spring or summer blends, as the person does not always present as either particularly dark nor particularly contrasted in initial impression.
Dark Winter Color Dimensions
Dark Winter’s predominant color quality is darkness. This doesn’t mean that they must wear only head-to-toe dark looks, or that all of their colors are dark, but simply that of all seasons excluding Dark Autumn, this coloring has the least tolerance for lightness in color.
In addition to being dark, Dark Winter is also cool-neutral. They can balance both warmer and cooler colors, even in the same outfit, but overall their best colors do have a cooler quality.
Finally, Dark Winter colors are moderately bright. Those with dark winter coloring can wear a range of colors where some choices will be brighter an others softer, however overall the suit colors that lean towards brightness while avoiding the most extremely bright shades.

Dark Winter has a wide array of deep pink, red, red-orange and wine lipsticks to choose from. Deeper shades of neutral pink, classic reds and deep red-violet are among the most successful choices.
