Common Presentations of Soft Autumn

Soft Autumn, like all seasons, has a huge range in terms of what they can look like. These Soft Autumn celebrity examples are merely a guess, since we can’t know what they would look like in real life with every season tried following proper methodology, however in photos they resemble exemplars I have personally seen. Please keep in mind that any season can present with any hair, skin and eye color.
Soft Autumn Hair Colors: These can range from darker shades of soft blonde to shades of darker brown. The average natural color is probably medium brunette, with the more defining character being the softness and undertones of golden caramel, bronze-green or rosewood (though these can be subtle, and hair may, in many contexts appear neutral or ashy).
Soft Autumn Eye Colors: Blue, green, and brown eyes are all seen frequently in people with this coloring. Typically, one can make out some warmth to the eye, though some blue eyes here may appear cooler.
Hazel eyes are common, and blue or green eyes in this season often contain a bit of brown or gold. Fully brown eyes do present here, and can create enough contrast to give the impression the person is a winter blend on first glance.
Soft Autumn Skin tones: Like hair and eyes, Soft Autumn skin tones range from light to deep, but are most commonly medium. Those who have more contrast between skin, hair and eyes in this season may often be mistaken for winter blends, and those who appear lighter may be taken for spring or summer blends, as the skin does not always present with an obviously warm overtone.

Soft Autumn Color Dimensions

Soft Autumn’s predominant color quality is softness. This doesn’t mean that they must wear all neutrals or only the most muted colors that can be made, but simply that of all seasons excluding Soft Summer, this coloring has the least tolerance for brightness.
In addition to being soft, Soft Autumn is also warm-neutral. They can balance both warmer and cooler colors, even in the same outfit, but overall their best colors do have a warmer quality.

Finally, Soft Autumn colors are medium-dark. Those with soft autumn coloring often believe they may be a winter blend or a darker season, because head to toe pale pastel looks are too light for them. This is true, however normal for the season. It is equally true that they are not at their best in extremely dark shades.
